As well as Mother being able to leave you these useful sticky notes, you can now do the same for your users.
Due to demand from customers who are in industries other than website-related ones, we have now made the Domains sections of Mother optional.
It lives! It breathes! Mother is alive! (Mwu-ha-ha….) After months in development, Mother is now available for use….
With the development work now almost finished, it’s time to turn our attention to some of the detailed visuals. Exciting times!
We had a great session with Paul Boag on Friday. Paul is an internationally renowned writer and speaker on website and web application usability and design, so it was a great chance for us to check whether we are on the right lines with Mother.
The choice has been made – we’re using CodeIgniter and jQuery to build Mother…
We’re big fans of Wordpress, so it seemed obvious to use it for the Mother marketing site. We found this fantastic premium theme by PageLines to give the site a great start in life!
After looking at a few alternatives, we’ve chosen the Mother logo. It’s based on a re-coloured version of the logo of metanym web design, Mother’s designers/developers (Mother’s mother?!)
So we’ve got the name. The developer (Hi Mike!) is lined up. Approximate functional spec exists, and we’ve got some outline designs. Now what?
