With Mother you get project management, sales and lead tracking, customer details, and online quoting and invoicing and a cashbook all in one place. If you manage a large number of web domains you can also make use of the domains management feature. Mother’s aim is to give you a single online tool for managing your business. So you can view a customer’s details, as well as seeing what projects and possible projects you have going for them, what quotes (accepted or not) you have sent them, and what invoices and their payment status relate to them, plus notes, uploaded files, and what domains you manage for them (if you can switch this part off if you don’t require it). Cut that information the other way by project, and you can view the information you need, when you need it, easily.

Mother allows you to track every stage of every project.  All actions can be recorded on Mother along with quotes, invoices notes and files. All in one place available 24/7 where ever you are.

Multi-user collaboration

Invite users to access your account with a simple email invitation process, great for sharing information across teams and with your accountant. You control what you want to let them see, including global settings like whether they can see details of estimates and invoices, or down to project level so they can only access the ones you want. Users can comment on actions on projects, and that conversation then becomes part of the project information. Down the line, we have lots more planned in this area, including aggregation of all the Mother accounts that one person might have access to, plus finding and inviting others with complementary skills to collaborate with on a project.

By defining the next action for everything on your list, you always know what needs doing, and you also maintain an emphasis on moving “projects” forward. Mother doesn’t believe in time-limited trials. How often have you signed up for a trial and then not got around to looking at the service until just before the expiry? With Mother, your free account is not time limited. You only get three projects and one user, and you can’t upload files, but we think that’s fair, and as your project count does not include archived projects, you will be able to get a good feel for the service at your leisure.
